Hi! My name is Jennifer Carnley.  I am so happy to have been selected to be a 5^th grade teacher here at Summerdale School.  I am beginning my 13^th year of teaching in Baldwin County Schools.  I have taught 1^st and 3^rd grades, but spent 10 of my years in 4^th grade. 

I received my Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from the University of South Alabama in 2005.  In 2014 I earned my Master’s degree from Western Governor’s University in Elementary Mathematics.  In 2016 I completed the 2-year eMINTs training program offered through Baldwin County.  This training taught me to incorporate technology into my classroom with a meaningful purpose while creating a climate of community. 

My vision for my classroom is to have it work as a community where everyone has a purpose, a voice, and everyone knows they are important to our classroom.
