Mrs. Beth Creighton Haber
I grew up on a small farm in Elberta, attended Elberta Middle School, and then later graduated from Foley High School in 1998. After high school, I attended Spring Hill College where I double-majored in English and Professional Writing. Upon graduation, I married my high school sweetheart, and we moved to Los Angeles for my husband’s work. There, I attended Loyola Marymount University and earned my Master’s of Arts in Teaching. For eleven years, I worked as a middle school English, humanities, and ESL teacher in South Central Los Angeles and later in Pacoima before being hired to teach at Grover Cleveland High School in Reseda, California. I taught American Literature as well as Grade 9 English and Honors English for two years before my husband, two children (Annora 9 and Connor 6), and two cats returned to Baldwin County this summer to be closer to family. I am thrilled to be back in Baldwin County sharing my love of literature and teaching young people the value of reading and effective analytical and communication skills.
