Hello Bears! My name is Lauren Lavender, and I am genuinely excited to begin this journey as the new Curriculum Leader. I am joining the Robertsdale team from Fairhope Middle School, however, I have taught English/Language Arts for many years at both High School and Middle School grade-levels. My family and I are relatively new to Baldwin County--this is the beginning of our third year here and we could not be happier!

Upon my arrival to Baldwin County, I began working closely with our Secondary Supervisors--assisting in the facilitation of Summer School for Baldwin County.  Within the last two years, I have served on the Pacing Guide Committee, assisted in the composition of our County’s Virtual Binder of Interventions, and facilitated various trainings throughout the county--including Compass Basics, Understanding the Pacing Guide, New Teacher Academy, Google Education Apps, and Navigating the Team Drives. I am a Google Certified Educator and I am also currently serving as an eMints Trainer for Baldwin County.

As your Curriculum Leader, I will be working closely with all faculty to ensure the implementation of quality instruction, accurate assessment, and effective reflection of data to maximize student learning and engagement. I look forward to a productive and engaging year of growth!
