My name is Jaime Tillman, and I’m thrilled to be a part of the DMS family. The 2022-2023 school year marks my 13th year in the classroom, and I have loved every minute of it. Teaching is my second career as I earned my B.A. in Journalism from Auburn University and worked as a journalist for 10 years before making the move into the classroom. I earned my teaching certificate in Secondary English Language Arts through courses completed at Troy University, where I also earned my master’s degree. I strive to bring a real-life approach to everything we do in the classroom. My hope is to help students not only master the concepts we cover in class, but also to help them to see how they can use their new skills outside of the classroom to achieve their own personal goals now and in the future.
