I was born and raised in Mobile, Alabama, where I attended the University of South Alabama. There, I earned my Bachelor's of Science degree in Chemistry and my Master's of Education degree in General Science Education. I also gained 6 years of research experience in an ionic liquid research laboratory on campus under the amazing professor, Dr. James H. Davis. I taught in Mobile County for 4 years, Florida for another 4 years, and California for 3 years before moving back to Alabama. The 2018-2019 school year will be my first year at Spanish Fort High School.

My husband, Joshua, is in the Navy and currently stationed at NAS Pensacola. We have 3 children:  Cullen, Teagan, and Ethan. We also have several four legged family members:  2 dogs, a cat, and a horse to come in the near future.
