Ms. Alison Robinson, 7th/8th Grade Science Teacher

Bio:

Hello, my name is Alison Robinson and I teach both 7th and 8th grade science at Fairhope Middle School. After being away for many years, I am very happy to be “back home” in”LA.” I currently live with my daughter, Kendyll, and 8-year-old granddaughter, Anna. On weekends, we can be found exploring historical sites in Baldwin County or Mobile, going to our land in Millry, or visiting members of our extended family.

I earned my Bachelor of Science in Business Finance from Florida State University. I took a leave from the world of business for almost ten years to care for my mother who was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s Disease. During this time, I received the call to teach. I earned my Master of Education in Special & Gifted Education from Tennessee State University and taught for the next 14 years in Sumner County, TN. Coming from a school with little interactive technology, I am very impressed with the program that Baldwin County Board of Education has established.

In 2015, I earned an Education Specialist Degree in Leadership from Lipscomb University in Nashville, TN. I also completed the Baldwin County Aspiring Leaders Class in March 2018.

I’m excited to share my passion of developing problem solving and critical thinking skills in students through the inquiry that the science curriculum allows.
