Welome to Fairhope Intermediate School! I am so happy to be your childs Physical Education teacher. We are going to have a great year together! 

This is my 14th year of teaching and I still enjoy it as much as the day I started. I knew I wanted to be a P.E. teacher from a very early age, it was my favorite part of the day! I enjoy being active and enjoy sharing this passion with students. 

I received my BS from University of Mobile in Exercise Physiology with a focus in Physical Education and my Masters degree from the University of South Alabama. I joined the FIS team this past year after teaching and coaching for ten years in the Saraland City School System. During my tenure, I coached the following sports: Varsity Girls Soccer, Varsity Volleyball, Middle School Basketball, Varsity Track and Field and also led the Archery team to state, national and world competition. 

My husband Jamie and I have two active teenage boys Ty and Luke and a Jack Russell Terrier named Chewy. 

FIS P.E. Program

Our P.E. program here at FIS is designed to help students develop the physical competence that leads to confidence and participation in physical activity for a lifetime. Our goal is to help children find a variety of ways to enjoy being physically active. Students will be encouraged to participate to the best of their ability in a wide variety of activities, and have FUN while learning.
