Fire Science instructor Mel Stringfellow begins his eighth-year teaching in Baldwin County. Retiring with 25+ years of experience from the Mobile Fire-Rescue Department made this a natural transition for his practical experience. Coach Stringfellow earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of South Alabama and his master’s from Spring Hill College. He and his wife Lee have been married for 35 years and they have three children and one grandchild. Evan, his wife Sara, and their son Will. Buck and his wife Jordan, and a daughter Erin who attends Auburn University.
