Welcome to Work Based Learning (COOP) I'm Mrs. Toomey. I have been teaching in Baldwin County since 2000. I grew up in Saraland, AL. I currently live in Baldwin County and enjoy cruising, traveling, camping and spending time with my friends and family.

My Education and Professional Background

My undergraduate degree is from Faulkner University in Montgomery, AL and I earned my masters in Educational Leadership from Grand Canyon University  in Phoenix, AZ. I have been a Work Based Learning (COOP) Coordinator for 14 years and taught Business, Marketing and Technology for 6 years prior. I work with students from Fairhope High School and Robertsdale High School.

My Educational Philosophy

I consider it a privilege to help students with employment skills. It is my goal to help students find real meaning in the world around them by learning while earning.
