Hello! My name is Jessica Walters and I am thrilled to be a part of the DES family! I have been teaching since 2013 and have taught kindergarten and 2^nd grade. I received both my Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in early childhood education from Auburn University. War eagle! In 2018, I graduated from Auburn University at Montgomery with my Education Specialist’s degree in early childhood. Since I was a little girl I have always known that I wanted to be a teacher. I am so delighted to be living out my dream!  

My husband Jason and I are originally from Auburn, AL and have been living in Daphne since 2014. Jason is a civil engineer with Alabama Power. We have been married since 2013. We have two precious fur-babies, Chloe (cat) and Cam (dog). We love to spend our weekends traveling to Auburn for football games or going to the beach.  Some of my other hobbies include singing, songwriting, reading, and cooking. I am so excited to be teaching here at Daphne Elementary and cannot wait for the great things this school year will bring! Go Trojans!
