Beginning in the 2022-2023 school year, the Child Nutrition Program will be required to charge for meals. For the past two years, the USDA granted waivers that allowed students to eat at no charge. Those waivers have expired, and we will resume the “normal” way of charging for meals. The prices for meals are below.
IMPORTANT! The 2022-2023 Free and Reduced Meal Applications are available online beginning July 1. We highly encourage you to complete this application. The application can be found by visiting http://www.bcbe.org/cnpapplication.
You will be notified by mail if your family qualifies. Only one application per family is necessary. If you completed an application in 2021-2022, your status will be carried over into the new school year for 30 school days. If you do not complete an application prior to the 45 days, your child(ren) will go to paid status. If you need a paper application, some will be available at your local school or the Child Nutrition Program Central Office. Please call 251-970-4402 for questions regarding applications.
