I am a mother of 2 boys ages 13 and 16. We have lived in Baldwin County for 14 years. I am originally from St. Louis, Missouri. As a family we enjoy traveling, hiking, boating, and being outside in general. My teaching experience has been truly diverse. I began teaching at the first-grade level. I have also taught at the 5th grade level in the general education setting. Then I began my journey with Special Education Services, teaching in a resource room. Following that, I taught for 2 years at Foley Intermediate as an inclusion teacher. After that, I ran a self–contained unit for the district in Elberta. Most recently, I was leading a team to start a school at an Autism center where I worked with a varied population of children on the spectrum. I am excited to see what this year at Bay Minette Middle School will bring. So far, it is off to a good start and I am already learning that this is a wonderful school, and our student population is wonderful to work with.
