We are so grateful to have our social worker, Shayla Smith, with us part-time at EMS. She splits her time among three local schools, so we usually have her with us once a week. She is a fantastic support to our students and families. Mrs. Smith has a wonderful relationship with our students and truly has a heart for helping others. She and our school counselor, Mrs. Burt, work very closely together to support EMS students and their families.
