My name is Amy Turner and I am originally from Butler, Alabama. I earned my Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education and received dual certification in Elementary Education from the University of South Alabama. I have been teaching Kindergarten for seventeen years.
I have been married to my wonderful husband Todd for twenty-one years and we have fourteen year old twins Haydon and Emma Grace. As a family, we enjoy traveling, sports, boating, kayaking, fishing, hunting, and just being together outdoors. We also have a four year old black and tan beagle named Hank that thinks he is human! We adore him!
Kindergarten is one of the things I am most passionate about in life! I believe I was placed on this Earth to teach little ones and in doing that, I first show them the love of Christ through teaching self-worth in a loving and positive environment. Children are like little sponges and they soak up everything we place in front of them if they know we care about them and they know they can trust us. I believe in showing them that right away. It is a great honor and privilege to teach little ones and I am very thankful for both.
