I earned my undergraduate degree in secondary education (English) from the University of South Alabama and my master's degree in gifted education from Troy University.  From 2007 to 2017,  I enjoyed teaching language arts classes for grades seven and eight here at Summerdale. I am now the gifted specialist for Summerdale School and teach students in second-eighth grades. I am also the scholar's bowl sponsor for our middle school students and the VEX-IQ robotics coach.  Go Panthers!
