This is my 14th year at Daphne Middle School.  I taught visual arts at Daphne Elementary School for 4 years before that.  During the Summer, I have taught art camps at Bay Rivers Arts Guild, Lyceum Art Classes with Daphne Middle School, and the Bounds Family YMCA Summer Kyds Camp.  I have published over 9,500 student artworks on a world wide student art museum called, artsonia-you can go to artsonia.com to view these fabulous works!  I enjoy motivating students to express their individuality and helping them adopt an "I can attitude!"  While learning about artists, art styles, time periods, and a variety of cultures, students gain confidence, techniques, and life-long learning through the four perspectives of art:  production, aesthetics, critique, and art history.

In addition, the 7 habits (based on The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People by Stephen R. Covey, 2003) will be incorporated into daily curriculum.
