READ ACROSS AMERICA: CELEBRATING DR. SEUSS!
Read Across America, a week we celebrate the joy of reading, is March 1-5, 2021. This year’s theme is Hats off to Reading! to celebrate Dr. Seuss’s 117th birthday. Each day of the week will be a different Dr. Seuss theme.
- Monday, March 1: Fox in Socks Day. Students can wear colorful or mismatched socks with their shoes.
- Tuesday, March 2: Cat in the Hat Day. Students can wear a hat to school or dress like the Cat in the Hat.
- Wednesday, March 3: Oh, the Places You'll Go Day. Students can wear a shirt from a place they have been (this includes any Elsanor or Robertsdale attire).
- Thursday, March 4: Grinch Green Day. Students can wear green-colored clothes or dress like the Grinch.
- Friday, March 5: My Many Colored Day. Students can wear as many different colors as possible.
