READ ACROSS AMERICA: CELEBRATING DR. SEUSS!

Read Across America, a week we celebrate the joy of reading, is February 26-March 1. This year’s theme is Hats off to Reading! Hats off to Elsanor School! to celebrate Dr. Seuss’s 120th birthday. Each day of the week will be a different Dr. Seuss theme.

  • Monday, February 26: Fox in Socks Day. Students can wear colorful or mismatched socks with their shoes. 
  • Tuesday, February 27: My Many Colored Day. Students can wear as many different colors as possible.  
  • Wednesday, February 28: Grinch Green Day. Students can wear green-colored clothes or dress like the Grinch. 
  • Thursday, February 29: Oh, the Places You'll Go Day. Students can wear a shirt from a place they have been (this includes any Elsanor or Robertsdale attire). 
  • Friday, March 1: Cat in the Hat Day. Students can wear a hat to school or dress like the Cat in the Hat.
