Andy Citrin Backpack Donations at Pine Grove & Delta Elementary Schools

During the first week of school, Andy Citrin Injury Attorney’s donated nearly 700 backpacks at two schools in the Bay Minette area of Baldwin County as part of its Project Backpack for the 2021-2022 school year.

Project Backpack is the law firm’s annual give-back event which provides backpacks filled with essential school supplies to students at chosen K-5 public schools in the area.

This year’s Project Backpack “Back to School” event supplied backpacks to Delta Elementary and Pine Grove Elementary in the Bay Minette area, along with Leinkauf Elementary and Hall Elementary in Mobile.

After delivering 260 backpacks to Delta Elementary on Wednesday, Aug. 11, it was a pep rally type atmosphere at Pine Grove Elementary on Friday, Aug. 13, complete with Baldwin County High cheerleaders, members of the Tigerettes dance crew and the Tiger Marching Band joining Citrin and his team, members of the Pine Grove faculty and staff and Baldwin County Schools Superintendent Eddie Tyler and members of his staff to make a special delivery of backpacks to the fifth-grade class. A total of 425 backpacks schoolwide were delivered on Friday.

“We are so proud to be here for you and want each and every one of you to know that we care about this community and we care about you,” Citrin said. “You are the future of the city of Bay Minette. You are the future of Baldwin County. You are the future of the state of Alabama, and you are the future of the United States of America.”
