Curriculum Update
Good Afternoon.
We received our curriculum plan from our central office staff today. Although our Seniors will miss most of their Senior year, they are now considered graduates if they are in good academic standing. Our counselors will be working on determining who will be considered graduates and we will be notifying those who still need to fulfill requirements to graduate.
Proposed graduation dates have been set in June and we will announce firm dates later in the month depending on the length of the pandemic. We hope to schedule the rest of Senior events at that time as well. We will be in contact when those dates become available.
The teachers will be using April 13th and 14th to prepare and plan for online/remote instruction. We will also be providing instruction for those who do not have online capabilities. The assignments will not be very time consuming and they will be focusing on core / required subjects. We will be sending out more instructions over the next week.
The most important thing for our students as they complete the year is to stay current with assignments, complete all assignments, and stay in touch. If you do not receive either the calls or email that are sent out please feel free to contact Mrs. Easley, our registrar at seasley@bcbe.org.
We hope everyone stays healthy and we will be in touch.
