The Foley Theatre Company showcased Foley High School talent at the Foley’s Follies on Thursday October 24th at the Foley Civic Center. Foley’s Follies is staged each year in honor of Jane M. Lindsley, director of the Foley High School Drama Club for 30 years. With her passing in 2015, the Jane M. Lindsley Scholarship for Theatre Excellence was established in her honor. Each year, this scholarship is awarded to Seniors who have shown a love for theatre during their time at Foley High School. Proceeds from the night’s entertainment benefit the Foley Theatre Company and the Jane M. Lindsley Scholarship for Theatre Excellence.

The performance included individual performances from various students followed by the performance of the student written AND directed One-Act entitled “A Slight Inconvenience.” This is the story of people who are so wrapped up in their personal lives that they fail to notice a larger catastrophe going on around them. The play was written as part of the 2018-19 Theatre Production class at Foley High School by Jessica Miller (2019 graduate), Hannah Dewhurst (Senior), and Jordan Rose (Senior). Dewhurst and Rose were the directors of the play.
