National School Counseling WeekFebruary 1st-5th

Foley High would like to say THANK YOU for all you do for the students and staff.

Jamel Thomas

Mrs.Thomas is the class of 2021 counselor. Mrs. Thomas started working at FHS in 2017. When she was in high school she did not have a counselor at her high school and did not know anything about it until she did her student teaching her senior year of college. It was then that Mrs. Thomas realized it was a great fit for her. Mrs. Thomas has been a school counselor for 24 years. Her favorite thing is being able to get up every day, go to a job she loves, and making sure that every student she interacts with knows that there is at least one person who loves them and will advocate for them.

Ansley Beverly

Mrs. Beverly works with students from all grade levels as the school Social Worker. Before becoming a Social Worker, Mrs. Beverly graduated from Foley High School and attended Auburn University, where she graduated with a master's degree in Social Work. Mrs. Beverly became a Social Worker to help others in whatever areas of life they are struggling in. Her favorite thing about her job as a Social Worker is when she sees a student and their family a few years after she has worked with them and they tell her how they are doing and how they can cope with life's issues better as a result of working with her.
