Baldwin County Public Schools kicking off the school year

FOLEY, Ala. (WKRG) — Baldwin County Public Schools held its annual employee kickoff event to celebrate the start of the 2024-’25 school year.

Each year the entire school district comes together for the Baldwin County Public Schools’ Institute to kick off the school year. This year over 4,000 employees attended.

This year’s speaker was Greg “Boss” Wooldridge, the only three-time commander of the U.S. Navy Flight Demonstration Squadron, the BLUE ANGELS. He is also the executive producer of the newly released Amazon Prime movie, Blue Angels. We are honored to have such an accomplished and inspiring individual join us to kick off the new school year.
