6th Grade Graduation - May 22, Daphne Civic Center 9:30am

Please mark your calendars and begin to make plans to attend our Sixth Grade Graduation. As a graduating class of W. J. Carroll Intermediate School, we hope to make this a memorable event. Graduation will be held on Wednesday, May 22, 2019 at 9:30 a.m. at the Daphne Civic Center.

Students will be transported to the Daphne Civic Center by a school bus. Students are not allowed to ride with parents to the Daphne Civic Center. This is a Baldwin County school policy. However, approval has been given for sixth grade students to be checked-out by a parent/guardian following the graduation ceremony and reception. Each homeroom teacher will have a sign-out sheet, allowing you to check-out your child and continue the celebration of their success.

We are instructing all the students to dress appropriately for this special occasion. Sixth grade students are asked to follow these guidelines:

Dress Attire:

  • Students may wear their school uniform attire.
  • Boys may wear dress slacks with a belt and a collared shirt.
  • Girls may wear a skirt, dress or dress pants with a nice blouse or sweater.
  • No spaghetti straps or halter tops unless covered with jacket, shawl or sweater
  • No purses
  • No shorts
  • No flip flops or crocs (only heeled sandals allowed)
  • Dress shoes preferredAny sixth grade student not abiding by the dress policy will be removed prior to the graduation procession. There will be many special guests in attendance and we would like to make this event an amazing remembrance in our student’s life. Sixth Grade Teachers
