FCCLA WEEK- February 18th-22nd

CELEBRATE TODAY, OWN TOMORROW

We are having our 2nd annual FCCLA week

Feb 18th - 22nd

This celebrates the value of Career Tech Education and FCCLA.

FCCLA, which stands for Family, Career, and Community Leaders of America, is a national Career and Technical Student Organization for 7th- 12th graders that provides personal growth, leadership development, and career preparation opportunities for students in Family and Consumer Sciences education or as we call it FACS.

Monday (2/18) will focus on FAMILY – We will create a large puzzle in the lunchroom with EVERYONE’s name on a puzzle piece. EVERYONE FITS IN HERE!

Tuesday (2/19) will focus on CAREER – and we ask that ALL students dress up as their future Career Choice.  (Ex: Police, Firefight, Teacher, Doctor, etc)

Wednesday (2/20) will focus on COMMUNITY – We will be passing out notes with compliments and MINTS to remind everyone “You are MINT to be apart of our community.”

Thursday (2/21) will focus on LEADERS – we are inviting all faculty members to room 310 – the kitchen lab – for a banana split or ice cream sundae. FCCLA Goes BANANA’s Over YOU!

Friday (2/22) will focus on AMERICA – Today we encourage everyone to wear BLUE to symbolize LOYALTY… WE ARE SUMMERDALE STRONG!
