Learn how kids and parents can participate in Bullying Awareness and Prevention Community Night
The Bullying Awareness and Prevention Community Night will be held on Thursday, October 10, from 6:00p.m.-7:30 p.m. at the Daphne United Methodist Church Community Life Center. The event is free and open to the public. Light refreshments will also be served for those in attendance. Baldwin County Public Schools are sponsoring an artwork contest, "Shatter the Silence" for bullying prevention. Pre K-12th grade students areinvited to participate.
Ms. Monique Davis, the mother of Jamari Terrell Williams, will serve as the featured keynote speaker. (Jamari Terrell Williams is the student for whom the state of Alabama’s new bullying law is named after.)
