The Chess Club

The Chess Club had another good year of chess play. The team finished second in the Mobile/Baldwin county chess league. We also finished in a tie for second at the state championship in Birmingham.  Some of our players graduated this year and they will be missed. We wish them the best.

We welcome anyone, regardless of ability, who wants to join us for chess practice each week next year. We practice every Tuesday after school in room 222. The practice runs from 3:30 pm to 5 pm.
