Greetings, Delta Elementary Families!

It is with joy and a grateful heart that I serve you as your Delta Elementary School Principal. I have been an educator in South Alabama for over twenty-five years, serving Mobile County, Satsuma City, and Baldwin County Public Schools. My educational experiences have allowed me to work in diverse settings and at various levels in public education. I have served as a classroom teacher, reading and math interventionist, school improvement facilitator, instructional coach, curriculum specialist, and administrator. 

I received a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education from the University of Mobile, a Master’s Degree in Elementary Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Southern Mississippi, and an Educational Leadership Certification from the University of South Alabama. I have also benefitted from continuous education and extensive professional development through the Alabama Reading Initiative and the Alabama Math, Science, and Technology Initiative.

Instructional leadership is an area of great strength for me, and I strive to use my expertise to ensure that academics lead at Delta Elementary School. I believe in challenging all learners to grow and reach their fullest potential in a safe, supportive, and nurturing school environment. I am a genuine and transparent leader who will always be available to you. Success starts at home, and I desire to support your vision of success for our children.

Family is something that I value above all else. My husband, Keith, and our daughter, Claire, are grateful to be part of the Gator Family. We have loved the Mobile and Baldwin Delta areas throughout our lives, and we take every opportunity to experience the beauty of the land and wildlife all around us. Delta is a special place! Know that I will serve and love your children and our faculty and staff as my family every day.
