    ***There is no application fee for this program*** Alabama's nationally recognized First Class Pre-K will begin accepting applications on January 21 for the 2020-2021school year. Enrollment is open to all children four years of age who reside in one of these school attendance zones.

    January 21 – February 14, 2020 All applicants must provide two (2) proofs of residence and Certified Birth Certificate at time of application. (Child must be four years of age on or before September 2, 2020) At that time, you will also schedule the appointment for your child’s screening.  For full details please see this link: Pre-K Application Link

    Students are generally referred to Baldwin County Public School System social workers by guidance counselors, school nurses, or administrators.  Referral reasons may include mental health issues, financial difficulties, medical concerns, behavioral problems, parent-child conflict, family crises, suspected child abuse/neglect, poor academic performance, and truancy/excessive tardiness.

  • FLU The Baldwin County Board of Education, in cooperation with HNH Immunizations Inc., will once again offer the influenza (FLU) vaccines in schools October 21-22, 2019. The vaccination will be made available to all students, except for students who are dependents of parents insured by the Public Education Employee Health Insurance Program (PEEHIP).  Employee’s children are given the opportunity to participate in the Alabama Department of Public Health Wellness school clinics and arenot eligible for this program. 

    The live attenuated influenza vaccine (LAIV), also known as the nasal spray, is not available for the 2019-2020 School Year.   We will only offer the injectable vaccine.

    Consent forms were sent to all parents directly from the school.  The consent form must be completed and signed by the parents.  Please return the form to your child’s school nurse.  Students will not receive the vaccine without a properly signed consent form.

    The Baldwin County Public School System is committed to the provision of excellent educational opportunities for all students.  For students to take advantage of these opportunities, it is essential that students attend school on a regular basis.  Daily attendance is monitored by each school so that both parents and educators can work together to ensure compliance with the district’s attendance policy.

    Breakfast is available throughout the year in select Baldwin County Public Schools. The price for breakfast is $1.75 for K-12. For more information or to see if breakfast is available at your school please contact the school office.
