    Pre-K PROGRAM APPLICATION BEGINS JAN. 21

    ***There is no application fee for this program*** Alabama's nationally recognized First Class Pre-K will begin accepting applications on January 21 for the 2020-2021 school year. Enrollment is open to all children four years of age who reside in one of these school attendance zones. For full details please see this link: Pre-K Information

    Students are generally referred to Baldwin County Public School System social workers by guidance counselors, school nurses, or administrators.  Referral reasons may include mental health issues, financial difficulties, medical concerns, behavioral problems, parent-child conflict, family crises, suspected child abuse/neglect, poor academic performance, and truancy/excessive tardiness.

    The Baldwin County Public School System is committed to the provision of excellent educational opportunities for all students.  For students to take advantage of these opportunities, it is essential that students attend school on a regular basis.  Daily attendance is monitored by each school so that both parents and educators can work together to ensure compliance with the district’s attendance policy.

    Studies have shown that students who eat breakfast are more likely to reacher high levels of achievement. Breakfast is available throughout the year in select Baldwin County Public Schools. The price for breakfast is $1.75 for K-12. For more information or to see if breakfast is available at your school please contact the school office.
