Trent Higginbothem, Head Varsity Baseball Coach
Coach Higginbothem started his coaching career at Florida A&M, where he was in charge of working with hitters and catchers. Under his tutelage, the Rattlers not only led the MEAC in batting average (.322), runs (416), runs per game (8.0), hits (571), doubles (102), RBI (379), on-base percentage (.425) and slugging (.473), but were also ranked in the top-10 in the country in on-base percentage (2nd), average (5th) and runs per game (7th).
Coach Higginbothem also coached at Florida Gulf Coast University, where he helped the Eagles to the highest school ranking in program history (#9 in the country).From FGCU, Coach Higg became the recruiting coordinator at Coastal Alabama North Community College for two years before moving to the high school level.At the high school level, Coach Higginbothem served as the head coach for Morgan City High School in Louisiana and Coach Higg served two years as the hitting coach for Saraland High School.Coach Higg is entering his 2nd season leading the Tigers. Coach Higg is married to his wife, Monica Higginbothem, who is the Head Softball Coach at Bishop State Community College. They have a beautiful daughter, Ellissa.Christian Long, Assistant Varsity Baseball Coach
Christian Long graduated from Davidson High School (Mobile, AL) in 2016. He continued his baseball journey in Mobile at Bishop State Community College. He then spent the rest of his college career at Spring Hill College where he won two SIAC conference championships. He was prepped under many legendary coaches such as: Lloyd Skoda, Mike Harrell, James Hattenstein, and Frank Sims. He graduated from SHC with a History and Secondary Education degree in 2022.
He has had the privilege of coaching at Fairhope High School with Coach Kyle Hunter before transitioning to a full-time spot at Baldwin County High School.

Jeremy Sewell, Assistant Junior Varsity Baseball Coach
Coach Jeremy Sewell has been coaching 22 years and this is his 4th year coaching at Baldwin County High School. Coach Sewell has been a head Baseball Coach 14 years of the 21 years of coaching at the high school level. He has also played for a State Baseball Championship in High School (Oxford, AL) and won a State Championship as well in 2012 at Oxford High School.
