School Resource Officer William "Bill" Menefee, best known as Officer Bill, was born and raised in Texas. He is retired from the U.S. Army Infantry and is a veteran of Operations Desert Shield, Desert Storm, and Operation Iraqi Freedom.

Officer Bill began his career at Daphne Police Department in 2008 as a Patrol Officer. He has served in the Patrol Division and as an Investigator assigned to the Baldwin County Drug Task Force. Additional specialty assignments have included SWAT, Field Training Officer, Honor Guard, and Firearms Instructor.

Officer Bill was assigned as the Daphne Elementary Resource Officer in January 2019.

Officer Bill is married to his wife, Ashley and they have three daughters. He enjoys spending his time outdoors and with his family.
