The Career and Technical Education (CTE) Department at Elberta Middle School strives for excellence and proficiency in career and technology related skills and topics. Students are expected to work cooperatively, adhere to strict safety guidelines, and exhibit qualities of a good employee.

The CTE Department is comprised of STEM Technologies and Middle School Family and Consumer Sciences. Class in which students may enroll are STEM Technologies 1, STEM Technologies 2, Teen Discoveries, or Teen Connections. Additionally, students may join Career Tech Student Organizations that support skills taught in the classroom. The Technology Student Association (TSA) supports STEM Technologies, while Family, Career, and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA) supports FACS.
