Greetings! As a 2000 graduate of Baldwin County High School, I am honored that I have the opportunity to serve in the same place that prepared me for who I am today. I began my teaching career in Baldwin County after earning my B.S. in Elementary Education from The University of South Alabama. My first teaching experience was in first and third grades at Perdido School, and then fifth grade at Pine Grove Elementary School. Eventually, I accepted a third grade position at Bay Minette Elementary School, to teach where my own children attended. In 2018, I returned to The University of South Alabama, where I earned my M. Ed. in Educational Leadership, which prepared me to move into the role of Curriculum Leader at Bay Minette Middle School. Then, in 2022, I returned to my Alma Mater, BCHS, where I was named Assistant Principal.
My husband, Chuck, and I have five children, three of whom are students at Baldwin County High School. We spend most of our free time cheering for them and their Tiger teammates as they play baseball, softball, and basketball. Go Tigers!
Our students have the potential for BIG things. I am passionate about helping each of them become intrinsically motivated to achieve their goals. I look forward to working with you and other members of the community as we strive to identify ways we can continuously improve the high school experience for ALL students.
