  • Baldwin Prep’s Aviation Program is an opportunity to be at the forefront of aviation technology, working hands-on with cutting-edge aircraft. This program prepares students to take the written, oral, and practical examinations required by the Federal Aviation Authority to become an aviation mechanic with an airframe endorsement.

    This is a career program designed for students to go directly into the labor market upon completion. Although some of the courses in this program will transfer to four-year institutions, this program is not designed to be a transfer program of study.

Aviation

  • Be prepared for Federal Aviation Administration exams required to be certified as an aviation mechanic with an airframe endorsement.  Average earning potential: $82,000.    Average completion time: 3 years

  • Third Year Airframe Systems 3, Airframe Systems 4

Dual Enrollment

  • * Dual Enrollment Courses are offered through Coastal Alabama Community College and allows students to earn a short term certificate in Airframe Technology (CER-AMT) or and an Associates of Applied Science (AAS-AMT)
