Ms. Patrice Wolfe
My name is Patrice Wolfe, and I'm proud to be your principal at J. Larry Newton Elementary School. I grew up in Livingston, Alabama and attended the University of West Alabama obtaining dual certification in elementary and early childhood education. My Master’s Degree in Instructional Leadership and Administration was awarded from the University of South Alabama, and I have been a school administrator in beautiful Baldwin County since 2008. Previously, my teaching and administrative experience was in Mobile and Sumter counties. I am blessed with two sons, Jacob and Reese, who attend Fairhope public schools.
In my roles as an educator, it has been my passion to help students build on personal strengths while providing opportunities to grow and learn in a safe and loving environment. Newton’s faculty and staff members are dedicated and provide engaging learning activities to challenge students to think deeply and creatively. The educational program offered at Newton is high quality and rigorous, providing opportunities to apply learning to new situations at school and in life. Our teachers seek to empower students to develop a passion for lifelong learning and motivate students to reach full potential. Our daily work together as a school family includes fostering skills needed for students to become leaders of their own learning.
J. Larry Newton welcomes parents and encourages parental involvement. Parental involvement increases student achievement and enriches the school community. Please feel free to contact the school to see how you may join PTO or sign up to volunteer. By doing so, you are providing valued attention to students, teachers, and the school community. Through this teaming effort, we will make tremendous progress for all.
Thank you for trusting your child in our care and partnering with administration, students, faculty and staff . Please feel free to contact me at 251-990-3858 with questions, suggestions or concerns.
