This year we will continue to strive for excellence by empowering our students to dream, grow, and lead. 

This year we will continue to fully implement the Alabama College and Career Ready Standards (CCRS). We plan to offer curriculum nights for our parents and community to strengthen the home-to-school connection and provide training on how parents can help students with their studies. We believe home and school are a partnership, and parental involvement is a critical component of each child’s success. We are honored to serve in such an active and caring community.

The vision for Pine Grove Elementary is to provide a student-centered learning environment where creativity and leadership are encouraged. We believe that children learn best when they are actively involved in their school, enthusiastically engaged in their curriculum, and fully immersed in the learning process. We believe teaching and learning should be fun and engaging. Students need to make meaningful connections between the skills taught and the world around them. It is our goal to foster an environment where students become adaptable, effective learners who are able to think critically and creatively. We also want to create an environment where parents become dynamic participants in the instructional realm of the approved curriculum. We believe that parents can be one of the school’s greatest assets, as they have the unique ability to take learning beyond the four walls of the classroom and into the career-based environment where learning becomes a reality.
