How do I check in/out my child?
Student check in and check outs will be done from the front lobby.
- Parent checking a student out - rings door camera and shows ID. Parent remains outside.
- Tells front desk employee name of student they want to check out
- Front desk employee calls room and student comes to office.
- Front desk employee walks student to door and obtains signature of parent.
- Parent checking a student in – rings door camera and tells front desk employee they need to check a student in.
- Front door employee walks to door, lets student in and obtains parent signature.

How do I drop off medications?
Delivery of student medications should be by appointment only with school nurse. Please email her at nmitchell@bcbe.org or call the school office at (251) 964-5210.

Will I be able to enter the building this year?
Parents will be able to attend many events this school year, but we ask that you limit your visits and schedule an appointment, when possible.
We ask that all school business, whenever possible, be conducted over the phone or online. Parents will not be able to walk students to class on the first day of school as we have allowed in the past. We will have procedures in place that will be communicated by your teacher for our younger first time students in Kindergarten and Pre-K.
We will also keep the same food policy as last year and will only serve prepackaged items for birthday celebrations.

Do I need to turn in my computer?
If you plan to attend Rosinton or the Virtual School this year, keep your computer.
If you plan to attend CBMS next year, return your computer to school.
If you are planning to homeschool or attend another school besides Baldwin County Virtual Elementary/Middle School, return your computer.

What do I do if I need to drop something off for my child at school?
Ring the door camera and let the front desk know that you have something to drop off. The front desk worker will come to the door and get items and get them to your child.

How do I apply for free/reduced lunch?
The 2020-2021 Free and Reduced Meal Application is available online at www.bcbe.org/applyforlunch.

How do I enroll my child in the Baldwin County Virtual School?
Applications for Baldwin County Virtual Elementary/Middle School may be accessed by visiting www.baldwinvirtual.com. If you have questions regarding the virtual school, please email bcves@bcbe.org.

What time do the buses run?
We have several buses that come from Central Baldwin Middle and Robertsdale High School. Middle and High School students will then unload and reload to the correct bus. Buses will usually leave school around 3:30.

What time does carline begin?
Car line begins at 3:00 pm.

What is the earliest time I can drop off my student?
The doors to the school open at 7:15. No students should be left unattended before the school opens.

What time does school start?
Homeroom begins at 7:50 a.m. and students must check in if they arrive after 8:00 a.m.
