History of Magnolia School
Magnolia School is a Pre-K-6th grade school in the Baldwin County School System. It is located between the town of Magnolia Springs and the city of Foley on County Road 55. This school is a dream come true for the Magnolia Springs community. In the early 1900's, the town hall, now known as Magnolia Springs Community Hall, was used as the first schoolhouse for area students. In 1927, a school building was erected which later became known as the Magnolia Springs School. When the school was extensively damaged by fire in 1985, students were permanently transferred to various Foley school campuses. Twelve years later, bids were approved for a new Magnolia School. The main facility was completed in December 1998. A new wing and an addition to the cafeteria were added to the facility in 2019, to accommodate an increasing student population.
