Dear Parents/Guardian:

Hello and Welcome Back to another wonderful school year! I would like to take this opportunity to introduce myself, my name is Tomica Wiggins and I am the School Counselor. I am so happy to be here and part of such a wonderful school and community!

I received a Bachelor’s Degree from The University of West Alabama in Early Childhood Education and Elementary Education. It was during that time that I made the decision to spend my life working with children and families.  I went on to earn my Masters Degree in School Counseling, a Certification in Education Administration, and a Specialist Degree in School Counseling. Throughout my tenure in education, I worked in several school districts with students in grades K-12.

As a school counselor, my primary responsibility is to promote the academic, career, personal and social development of all students.  I look forward to offering support to the students, staff, families and community. I have been married for ten glorious years and I am the proud mother of one beautiful daughter.  My favorite things to do are spending time with my family and friends, traveling, fellowshipping with my church family, and baking sweet treats. I will be meeting with students individually and in small groups, conducting classroom lessons, meeting with parents, collaborating with teachers and staff, and consulting with community organizations to benefit and meet the needs of all Magnolia students and families.

Any student can request to meet with me or they can be referred by a teacher, administrator, or parent.  I encourage you to contact me if you have concerns regarding your child.  I am here to help students achieve their personal/social and academic goals, as well as provide support for the parents and teachers. I can be reached by email twiggins-bradley@bcbe.org or phone at 251-965-6200.

I am thrilled to be working with you and your child and welcome your input as we create an effective and nurturing counseling program.

Warm Regards,

Tomica Bradley-Wiggins
