Welcome to Central Baldwin Middle School! Great things await students this year! We have an excellent faculty and staff that are ready to serve. We Believe Education Assures Reaching Success!!! The Central Baldwin area is special to me as I grew up in Silverhill and graduated from Robertsdale High School. I was fortunate enough to earn an athletic scholarship for baseball at Faulkner University in Montgomery. I eventually transferred to the University of South Alabama, where I earned my Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education and my Master's degree in Educational Leadership and Administration. I earned an Educational Specialist degree in Instructional Leadership from the University of West Alabama. I taught for five years at Gulf Shores Middle School; served one year as a BCBE Administrative Intern; served 15 months as an Assistant Principal at Foley Middle School; seven years as the Gulf Shores Middle School Principal; and the last nine years as Central Baldwin Middle School's Principal.
I am married to Michelle Thompson. I have a daughter, Joi and a son, John Carey, and one granddaughter, Everleigh Rose. I love the outdoors, especially hunting and college football, War Eagle!!!
