Can I change my schedule?
No, unfortunately, due to our limited staffing, we are not able to make changes once the schedule is finalized. If you have further questions, please request a meeting with the administration.

When does my child receive their schedule?
Schedules will be available at Meet the Teacher or registration after school fees have been paid. Your required $45 fee is due before schedules will be released.. No schedule will be given until the fees are paid.

We don't want our student to be tardy or late, what is the bell schedule?
7:45 - Home Room, 1st period
8:38 - 2nd period
9:28 - 3rd period
10:06 - Break
10:24 - 4th period
11:14 - 5th period
12:04 - 6th period
12:54 - Lunch

Can I quit band?
No, we would like for students to wait until the following year to decide if they would like to discontinue their participation in the band.

What athletic teams does Summerdale School offer?
Baldwin County students can participate in the following sports at Summerdale School: football, volleyball, cross country, basketball, track, soccer, and cheerleading.

What is the protocol for athletic eligibility?
Athletic eligibility is developed by the Alabama High School Athletic Association (AHSAA). Below is a link to the AHSAA Handbook and Sports Book. The eligibility for all middle and high school athletes can be found in the AHSAA Handbook. If you need assistance, please contact your school's athletic department.

Are there any required forms for my athlete?
The Alabama High School Athletic Association (AHSAA) has required forms that must be completed by parents each year. We will use a program called DragonFly to complete the forms required for participation in athletics. Below is a link to instructions on how to create an account in Dragon for the parents and students if you do not already have an account. Also below is a link to connecting your account to the student’s school. Once you have completed these two steps, you will have access to the eligibility forms. If you have any questions, you should contact the school's athletics department or administration.

I would like to attend an athletic event, how do I purchase tickets?
Click link to purchase tickets. You will be required to sign up for an account.
You will show your ticket when you arrive and a staff member will grant you access. Please do not click this until you are at the games.

Can I bring my cell phone to Middle School?
Yes, it must remain in your backpack in your locker.

Do I get to have a locker?
Yes, each student is assigned a locker and required to use it while at school. Please make sure your backpack is able to fit within the locker due to safety reasons.
