Mr. Branton Bailey, Principal
As a leader, I am aware of the dynamic school and community bond. I consider parents our partners in their child’s education and we will work together to help each child experience growth and success in all aspects of their development. Working with the parents and community stakeholders we can build on the foundation fostered by Elberta Elementary and Elberta Middle School and grow Elberta High School to ensure that the Warrior spirit thrives.
My wife Ashleigh and I have raised our 4 children Tucker (19), Ben (18), Caroline (15), and Campbell (13) in the Elberta community. When I’m not working or enjoying sporting events with my very active family, I like to hunt and fish. As a longtime resident of Elberta my commitment to this community is strong. I look forward to continuing the educational partnership with Baldwin County and the town of Elberta.
I was born in Opp, Alabama and graduated from Straughn High School. I earned my Bachelor’s degree from University of Mobile and my Master’s in Leadership from the University of South Alabama. In 1996 I started my educational career as both a teacher and coach, and in 2004 began my administrative career as assistant principal at Elberta Middle School. I have since served as principal at Foley Middle and Intermediate and as Executive Principal for Baldwin County. In 2016, I was excited to be named the principal of Elberta High School as Elberta has been my home for more than 20 years.
This is a fantastic school with an outstanding faculty that takes great pride in fostering the growth. I am honored to have the opportunity to lead the Warriors onward and upward!
Go Warriors!
