The Purple Star Club participated in Spanish Fort's Christmas Parade on December 14, 2024. The Veterans of Honor were Ret. Petty Officer First Class Shirley Megie (Navy) and Chief Petty Officer Stephanie Megie (Navy). The Megie family joined us on the float along with our club President, Sarah Arnold, and club Vice-President, Andie Thompson. Special thanks to the Arnold family for helping! 

The Purple Star Club organized the first annual Military Recognition Night on November 21, 2024, to honor the families of SFHS students who may be on active duty, reserves, or retired military members. Families were treated to a reception before the varsity boy's basketball game and were recognized at the start of the game for their service and sacrifice to our nation. The school choir sang the National Anthem and the JROTC Color Guard presented the colors.
