• Head Coach-

    Tyler Countryman has been involved with wrestling since he was one of the first wrestlers to be a part of the revival of the wrestling program in Prattville, AL. He would go on to be a three year varsity starter and state placer, finishing 3rd at 171 in his senior year. After a few years away from the sport he got back into it while in college by becoming the first Head Wrestling Coach at Montgomery Catholic. There he had numerous state placers and the schools first State Champion. After a few years he left for a teaching postion and coaching job at Smiths Station.After one year as Middle School Head Coach he moved to Stanhope Elmore to take over as Head Varsity Coach. In his first and only year the team placed a school record 4 wrestlers at the State Tournament along with one finalist.  

    After his one year at Stanhope he moved to Gulf Shores to work with the new program. Over his four years he produced his second State Champion and 9 state placers. Follwoing the 2018-2019 season he made the move to Spanish Fort High School to become the Head Wrestling Coach.
