Dear Summerdale School Families,

I am excited to introduce myself as your new Summerdale School Principal. After 22 years of serving the Baldwin County Public Schools, I am honored to join this incredible school community and build upon its proud legacy of fostering both academic excellence and personal growth for all students. I want to acknowledge the leadership of Mrs. Ducote who helped to build such a positive learning environment, establishing a solid foundation for the accomplishments of the entire school. I am committed to maintaining and strengthening these traditions.

In looking to the future, I believe that the success of Summerdale School depends on the strength of our partnerships. When we come together as a community—families, teachers, staff, and students—our children thrive. My goal is to continue fostering a school culture where each child is supported not only in the classroom but also through the engagement of their families as well as the wider Summerdale community. I am deeply committed to ensuring that every voice is heard and everyone feels included. The more we work together the easier it will be to support every student to succeed, feel valued, and reach their fullest potential.
