Course Expectations
-
In a virtual environment, it is critical that students taking honors/advanced/Advanced Placement courses stay on pace with assignments. Students who fall behind pace meet mounting challenges as the rigorous course content builds, often resulting in lower term grades. Honors/advanced/Advanced Placement courses should be treated with priority status. To encourage on-pace behavior, the BCVSS Academic Intervention monitoring program spans all courses, including honors/advanced/Advanced Placement courses in order to encourage successful academic outcomes. In accordance with Baldwin County Schools grading policies, all coursework grades are posted quarterly. While students may work ahead in a course, submission of assignments after the quarterly endstop dates for a previous quarter is prohibited.
