• Coach Bennefield, Head Coach

    Coach Mitchell Bennefield works with hurdlers, mid-distance, and distance runners. This is Coach Bennefield's 4th year coaching track, second year serving as head coach at Elberta High. He ran track during his junior and senior years at Piedmont High School. During his junior year, his team won the 2014 3A state championship. During his senior year, he placed 2nd in the state in the 60m hurdles with a time of 8.86, losing only to Trey Cunningham. In his senior outdoor season, Coach Bennefield finished 3rd overall in the 110m hurdles with a time of 15.72. He was also part of the all-state 4x800m and 4x400m relay teams. Coach
