    NBCT HVAC-R Program Video: HVAC

     

    The Air Conditioning, Heating, and Refrigeration (HVACR) program includes a study of air conditioning, heating, and refrigeration for residential and light commercial equipment. Students are trained to be HVACR technicians in a real-world, hands-on lab environment.
    The HVACR facility is equipped with state-of-the-art HVACR systems
    and conventional HVACR systems.  Free Dual Enrollment offered through CACC for students who qualify.


    Technicians will be needed to troubleshoot and maintain HVACR systems because of the increasing number of new residential and commercial structures and to respond to the increased demand for energy management, conservation and other "green" technologies.

    • NCCER HVACR III / ACR 147

    National Center for Construction Education and Research (NCCER) provides a credentially tool and a Level I Certificate with 70% accuracy.
