The guidance and counseling programs are an integral part of the school program, consisting of a coordinated plan involving pupils’ needs as well as the needs and input of administration, faculty and staff.  The counselor works directly for the benefit of the students and serves as a resource person for parents, teachers and administrators in helping children and youth to meet their developmental needs.  The focus of the school counseling program is on the individual student for whom the counselor strives to provide a meaningful educational experience. The ultimate outcome is for students to maximize their individual potentials and to acquire the skills to meet their individual goals.
